Our products have their own policies

This website is our company site. It does not host accounts, and no purchase is made here. We also build and operate consumer subscription applications, each of which is published on its own website with its own privacy policy. If you are a customer of one of those products, the policy published on that product's own site is the one that applies to you, not this page.

What we collect

Information you send us. This site has no forms. The only way to contact us from it is by email. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to put in the message, and we keep that correspondence so we can reply and maintain a record of our discussions.

Analytics. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this website, and we do not set cookies for tracking.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information, including IP address, browser type, and the time of the request. This is used for security and to keep the site running.

We do not collect payment information on this website.

How we use it

• To keep the site secure and available.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that run this site on our behalf — our hosting and analytics providers — and only to the extent they need it to provide that service. We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for the relationship, and then deleted. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form according to our provider's retention period. Server logs are kept for a short operational period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these, email us at hello@blackcatechnologies.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
